had a small training today after school.
trained in the prerequisite for btwist.. a lot.
in bkicks.. a bit
and btwists themselves. (though earlier i swore to myself not to do them)
slipped on one btwist landing and crashed on the inside of my right knee, which has an invisible and not-so-serious bruise thanks to first aid. i bet it was my own sweat on the floor that made me slip.
i think my setup for the bkick/twist is quite strong now, considering the fact that i can felt blood rush to my fingertips as i do the first 2 steps and the jump came out naturally.
one thing i noticed and learned today: hit it hard and fast.
meaning to say that, whatever you do in wushu, put your full energy to it throughout the move.
i watched btwist videos on youtube and saw that Steve Terada (a famous trickster) can do a Standing double btwist. yes, a STANDING DOUBLE btwist. there was no run-up or anything. noticed while that, he used much force and the least amount of time to get to where he wanted to be and just BAM! landing was solid as well, it means he didn't relax in the move at all (unlike what i'm doing 90% of the time).
well, enough said.
i should use this tip for study as well huh? ..and possibly everything i do. i should give it my all when i study, with mind focused and all. it feels good to have a focused mind.
in whatever i do, i Should give 150% or 200% if not 100%. but of course i need to think of consequences as well (such as playing capt's ball before training. using 100% for capt's ball would leave me 60% for training.. lul ._.)
