environmental studies with lim choon siew really is just emphasis on a few points. quite a drag imo, but not powerful enough to put me to sleep. though there were sometimes where he brought out current issues and discussed them.

cca drive

we got about 50 people! yay!
now there's another problem..
how the heck are we gonna squeeze them all in the club room, assuming that they are die-hard enthusiasts? hahahaaaaa
but definitely there will be the weak or the busy ones who will quit halfway, or maybe don't even turn up for the first 'trial' training session.
i can't say for sure though, cos i don't last year's statistics. :l

after that we packed up and went to clubhouse. i then went alllll the way to fc 2 to get me some cheap rice. 2.60 for 2 meat, 1 veg and an egg. saw cynthia, an ex-sch mate of mine and said hi.

went back to clubhouse with a stitch in my side and asked to leave the door open for me as i waited for my food to digest.

training
~~~~~~
exhausting basics. my cartwheels getting better, gonna be *proper* aerials soon. tornadoes and lotuses too! wee....!
i'm officially learning the new jing sai chang quan, which is an international chang quan routine. you can say it's something like everyone in singapore taking o levels kinda thing.
i think i'm learning at a rather slow pace. as i told liyan this, she said i was 'quite fast'.. O_o hmm
well, i think i got the silhoutte of the first quarter of the routine. just need practise and more observance to get the details down.
coach ky also said smth that my basics were not good. i can agree with that. especially left-legged kicks. they feel shorter and harder.. and less relaxed than the right. need to drill my basics. and of course 'ji bu'. there are quite a few of those in the routine.
after official training and we've rolled the carpets. i went to practice my san duan chang quan (which i failed by a miserable 0.2 for grading) at the back, being afraid that once i learn the new routine, i might forget the old one. i still remember wu bu quan though! xD
i then also went to practice parts of the new routine at the back and i've been spotted by coach ky! :O and then he said smth to hui ying and they both looked at me.. and i responded like.. hi :D and went behind a pillar. lol
we then got our things down.. yuan ching chased raymond with the ball and somehow it flew downdowndowndowndown into the darkness which is the drain and we all had a good laugh xD
as they were keeping the stuff in the clubhouse, i told to leave without me as i would be taking the other direction anyway and slacked in clubhouse. went outside to practice the new routine thrice in total and went to play with the dual swords too.
managed to chain the forward slice-n-dice with the backward slice-n-dice and vice versa. now it can go on forever hahaha. also practiced that dual crazy sword swinging thingamageek a little and tried to make up some chained moves for it. they're still in beta stage i guess?
finally left for home.
er..
~~~~~~

this is the section where i say random stuff..

i'll start by:
now with the new syllabus for second year (i'm talking academics here). i have more work time and can literally feel the stress. i live with that thought of 'something's not done' almost everywhere i go, whatever i do. got three datasheets a week and of course to revise and to pull up that abysmal gpa.

on top of that, i also have club issues to settle. things like writing proposals and that cca-point-awarding sheet thing. meeting terence(the sports head in sp or smth) for this and that. asking terence for this and that. checking gmail to see whether he replied. talk some more. club events and more planning of this and that. club meetings.. so on.. and of course, training itself.

now my time for leisure has gone to a near zero. when i'm not training, nor studying, nor doing admin work for club, nor watching weekly episodes of naruto, nor eating and nor everyday things, i should be asleep.

though i'm not complaing about the added workload from wushu. (i can't imagine how suhui, my upline, manages) the added workload has caused me to feel a little stressed with all the things i Need to do. meaning like.. 'after i'm done with this proposal, i should start on my materials science or smth'. so you can say it's positive stress. i think without wushu, i might be wasting the time playing and procrastinating.. haha.

well k that's all.
naruto time!
