after school, as i went home i decided to practice my btwist a bit as i might not be able to this whole week. so when i reached home, i changed into my tracks and went to the park downstairs. did a little warmup and practiced the btwist prereq first. i notcied the ground was very uneven and that my shoes can't spin on the toes against the grass, both of which would lead to injuries. so i decided not to train there and move to that tiled sheltered area whatyoucallthat. before that, i went to practice my shuriken-jutsu on my old tree. i've lost touch of the skill itself, such as even the feel when i hold the shuriken in my hand and.. feel it. as in you know, like it's a part of your body kinda thing and you can feel power in it. the kind of feel you might get when you hold wushu weapons. idk about you, but i get that. that feeling is awesome.

after that i went to that said place and TRIED to do some, but just couldn't. could be the slight fatigue from lack of sleep. well, my head was heavy for one and my legs weak another; i was also slightly breathless. i couldn't feel strength and power in my jump. but i stubbornly told myself: One. Just one.
i tried to force one out and i crashed on my ass and back. i twisted and stopped halfway out of fear and i didn't wrap. but the crash was quite.. awesome in a way that it was quite slow-mo as i fell. but a crash is a crash, it's bad.

so the thing i've learnt:

don't force yourself to do tricks if you don't have the feel or drive for it. you'll end up hurt.

the mind has to be in that very focused state that every millisecond of thought and control is possible.
