quite an eventful day i had
first, i went to bishan with the thought of 'job interview', but only five minutes was spent.. (i was late, as usual btw). seems like i'm already in the job.. haha
my job is to help a filming crew carry stuff around orchard as they shift from place to place. they're gonna advertise orchard, but i wonder.. who in singapore doesn't know orchard? well perhaps the new attractions at orchard. like the ion thing.. hmm :l
i'll be paid 10/hr x 6
60 for the day.. sweet. (:
but i'd prefer if it were fixed or smth, so there'll be a consistent supply of income
after that brief five minutes, i just strolled 'round junction 8 aimlessly. there was some phone 3G competition and the top prize was a newly launched phone.. dunno what it is.
was tempted to participate at first, since i was REALLY FREE, but being the shy and somewhat proud guy i am, i passed the chance. only half regretting when there were participants already. lol
so after the strolling, i smsed wei xiang, asking him what time he'd be going to school.
after about a few smses, i somehow and indirectly managed to peer-pressure him to go to school.. haha xD
and then i waited in the mrt station for his reply of his sms of where to meet him, he messaged me some 15 minutes later just meet in school. ._.
onto the train i went and played monster hunter
was standing next to this rather cute girl :)
aw cute girl left :(
changed train
more monster hunter
left train and reached school
went to clubhouse and within 5 minutes upon reaching, wei xiang arrived! how coincidental
more mh in club house
slept a bit
saw one of my sec sch juniors, said hi
went to train at some place with reflection
took off my shirt and trained half-naked
liked how i look sexy (my silhoutte at least) with and without my sword in wushu poses
went back
grabbed some food at 7-11
went back
talked
went up
set up carpet
rolled around
stretched and warmed up
got ready for my wushu grading test
wei xiang was first, re-grading his wu bu quan. he NEARLY mixed it up with our san duan chang quan, but was quite unnoticable.
and then after some time, it was me. my san duan chang quan was being graded.
and
i was a nervous wreck RIGHT before it was my turn WTF!
i couldn't breathe properly
my heart was racing
and my feet were upon collapsing
X_x
sort of wanted to ask for a plastic bag to hyperventilate
i made at least three mistakes in the routine. mistakes being collapse upon trembling. :l
felt utterly disappointed
like i've trained long and hard for it, and this is the outcome. just because of nerves. it's just something so stupid/retarded/shitteous/effed-up to screw up for and yet, it's not really in your control either! ugh
and when it was jian time.. well it's much better. i didn't collapse for one, but i did make mistakes due to muscle memory. i was taught the 'supposed' version of the routine only the day before. sort of went in with an empty mind, forgetting fear.
after the grading, we rolled around, lazed and i emo-ed for a while
yi keng told me for the next time, to take a deep breath to calm the nerves before entering. he also said smth like 'if you cannot breathe properly when standing there, you'll be nervous if u just walk in in that state'
then we cleared the carpet and played a little frisbee
and then we were chased out by the FO campers. D:<>:l (determined face)
i shouldn't emo over it! if i fail (which is quite unlikely, but that possibility is still there), i'll just use that anti-nerves tip from yi keng (and maybe bring a plastic bag along lol) and sail along the waves of victory! or smth liddat
good night!
PS: thanks to wei xiang, the little favicon is now changed! yay! :D
