went for training again today.
yes wushu ftw
was pretty tiring.. wait in fact almost all trainings are.
despite training being tiring, by the time you're walking back to the clubhouse, or are in transport back home, you won't feel as tired and exhausted anymore. you'd also feel it was all worth it.
hey, your physical standings improved, and your mental acumen as well. perhaps it would give one the never-say-die attitude. (though this doesn't happen when i haven't been studying for a test which is only the next day.. wahahaaaa)

Training
~~~~~~~
Coach Kim Yong told us about the things standard in every routine. Things like when performing routines, do it for a fighting intent, and not just for the sake of doing it. Also, stomach in, chest out to give that impression that you're full of energy kinda thing, and not sloppy.
then we did the usual, set the carpet, 10 mins of consistent running, stretching and more stretches. first was the butterfly stretch thing. xing yan helped me by standing on my knees and pushing my back forward. it didn't hurt cos i was exposed to this while i had shaolin long time ago. then while doing my left front split, i pulled the tendon in my right knee and gave an audible ARGH. gah.. when will i get it right and finally do it like the girls? :l
finally side splits, coach kim yong helped me by pressing me down and i clutched onto my hair, embracing the pain. T~T
after all that, were the basics. less standing kicks, more jumps. my jumps were a little half-hearted as i was still tired from yesterday. doing it full-heartedly would cause me to crash and not burn, but bruise.
and then it was a total of six full routines of san duan chang quan for wei xiang and i. thank God they're split into sections.
after training, coach kim yong gave some of us an awesome back crack. wow he cracked my upper back, something i wanted to crack for a long, long time. yi lun also cracked a bit of on top yesterday too. and also he gave us a little theory on jumps and jump kicks, specifically bai lian.
then we went back.
i right-legged hopped up again, but skipped some stairs to avoid awkwardness in the presence of other people and also i tripped over a stair.
PS: my hand got cut when i threw up the jian and caught it by the blade cos it rotated slightly.. boohoo ):
nah no biggie
