I LEARNT TO GRIND ON RAIL :D

Yep, the Go Sports at margaret drive.

i went there two days ago to actually check the place for stock of the white USD VII and/or the USD '09 ALL STARS. unfortunately for me then, neither was in stock. i didn't bother to check other places as Go Sports is the Best place to get skating equipment. They even have ramps, rails and boxes. Its definitely the best place for a skater to be (don't count the huge skate parks). Well, so the store owner, Mr Goh, suggested me to try Razor Genesys 8, the last one he has in stock for my size. It was pretty comfy.. the liners fitted like a glove, but it really looks too old, as the white parts are yellowed and.. well they're more expensive than if i bought skates over the net.

so after that day, i decided to get Razors instead.

The next day I ordered a Razor Genesys 7.1 from aggressivemall.com for about.. $285 SGD. They're a re-released model of the G7s due to popular demand, which is therefore newer than the G8s (and he's selling to me for $440 SGD). The G7s look better than the G8s IMO anyway

i went to the skate shop today and told the store owner that i got my friend to help me (thank you) order online already. idk whether its me or smth, but he had the sarcastical smile on his face when he said 'so you came that day to try the size only ah?'. made me feel bad for not buying from him, but its a dog-eat-dog world, of course the better deal gets it.. and he has no G7.1 anyway :p

so i talked to him no more and skated on the stuff around

I was positioning myself on the ledge of the ramp to feel how a stall should be like, and the getting down part. i put my feet in the position of a soul grind (soul stall?) and then i just jumped down from it. apparently my feet were mis-aligned and i felt back. i threw out my hands to catch myself (very dangerous, could fracture my elbow(s), Again..) and landed hard on my ass, which gave my whole body a bad.. BAD shock..

i can frontslide on moderate speed on rails now!! it was scary as shit at first cos i thought like.. if you missed the rail and your wheels caught them, you'd fail BAD! but no! i did it I DID IT I DID IT HAHAHA

ah.. the skating session was cool overall

I will not trick for quite some time as everytime i do so, there is ZERO progress, and before i develop bad form (which i think i already have), i shall have my wushu trainers to train me instead... think the last trick landed is a fugly tornado kick after a wushu practice

sorry for the total randomness.. i can't write stuff out into story-like anymore due to.. idk?
